This unusual fifteenfold / twelvefold rosette pattern features on a wooden door panel from Cairo, housed now in The Louvre museum. I analysed this pattern from a photo detail from David Wade’s extensive photo archive, utilising the theoretical methodology developed in Anthony Lee’s unpublished notebooks on the mathematical structure of rosette patterns.
