Mirror Passage 2024
This piece presents two distinct orientations of a sixfold pattern unit, positioned and combined to create new shapes. The pattern unit passes through a series of algorithmic transitions, designed and executed by hand. The arrangement has a mirrored relationship along the vertical axis.
Original Work
- Mirror Passage was rendered with handmade watercolour paints by Beam Paints on animal-free Fabriano watercolour paper. The work measures 19" × 24" (48.26 cm × 60.96 cm), is custom framed under UV preservation glass, and is not currently available for acquisition.
