Isometric 15/12 Indigo and White 2023

This unusual fifteenfold / twelvefold rosette pattern features on a wooden door panel from Cairo, housed now in The Louvre museum. I analysed this pattern from a photo detail from David Wade’s extensive photo archive, utilising the theoretical methodology developed in Anthony Lee’s unpublished notebooks on the mathematical structure of rosette patterns.

This linear indigo and white iteration complements the full colour version.
